Napa Valley Unified School District Before School Care, After School Care and Summer Program

We are pleased that you have chosen the NVUSD school age childcare program to be an important part of your child’s growth and development. Our ultimate goal is to provide students and their families with the peace of mind in knowing that students are safe, supported and act as the bridge between home and school. As a program, our staff  will work together in partnership with you and your children to support your families specific needs.

Mission:

Our mission is to provide opportunities for students to excel socially, emotionally and academically during out of school time. We believe this can be achieved by offering students hands-on, engaging activities that promote creative critical thinking and that differ from the school day. Children thrive in a setting that supports individuality, creativity and whole child development. This goal will be met through collaborative partnership with local trusted out of school time professionals, that help provide equitable opportunities to serve students' needs across our district.

What we do:

  • Strengthen school-and out of school time relationships with families
  • Provide support to enrich positive academic results for students
  • Support student social skills development
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment
  • Offer opportunities to learn through active engagement
  • Provide students with activities that support and promote leadership development

Our main office, located at the Adult Ed campus in room 12 is always available to discuss your needs, concerns and provide support for navigating your students before and after school care. Contact us at (707) 253-3959 or email nvusdchildcare@nvusd.org.
