FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

  • Can my child attend an afterschool location and not attend that school site?

Yes, but we do not offer transportation from one school site to the next. So families who choose to use a location other than their home school site must provide transportation

  • Can payment be set up between dual households?

Yes, Eleyo allows for multiple Owners on a single Child Care Account. When more than one owner is attached to a Child Care Account, each owner uses their unique email address and password to log in. Each owner would not have access to the other owner's payment methods. All account owners do see all invoices, contract/schedules, payments and credits on the account and have equal access to change the contract schedule, add or remove authorized pick ups, etc. Owners that have made payments also may print the annual tax statements online. Payments on the tax statements are categorized by the payer.

If an additional party only needs to make a payment to a Child Care Account and does not need to access any other features (like making schedule changes, etc), the Quick Pay option can be used.

  • Can you accommodate a child with special needs?

Our program is inclusive of all students. In order to ensure that we can effectively meet the needs of any child, it is important that parents communicate their child's specific needs on the enrollment form in order for the program staff to prepare and support as needed. In some cases, additional time may be needed before an official start date can be offered to ensure there is sufficient supervision and support in place.

  • Do I pay for care even if my child does not attend on a day I have contracted?

Yes, you are paying for the days of the week that you have reserved and we have staffed according to the expected daily attendance

  • Do you accept a childcare subsidy?

Yes, we accept a child care subsidy through Community Resources for Children and Solano Children and Family Services.

  • Do you offer a sibling discount?

Our current rates are lower than the local market rate, therefore no sibling discount is offered

  • Do you offer care over the school breaks?

Yes, intersession care is offered, and requires a separate sign up. Sign up information and registration links are shared with families via email and website. Sign ups will be made available through the Eleyo online registration platform.

  • How can I make a change to my current contract?

A NVUSD Childcare Contract Change Google form needs to be completed. Click here to access. The change does not occur until the childcare office approves it.

  • How do I complete a childcare contract for a student going into Kindergarten at a school that has early K/late K placement?

All Kinders start out as early K. You will complete the registration with that in mind. Once it is determined what Kinder placement your student will be in, which happens closer to Labor Day, you will complete a contract change to update your student's contracted schedule to reflect the correct care needed.

For example, Kinder School Bell is at 1:10pm and parents needs after school care. Parent will be billed from 1:10pm (M/T/TH/F) until whatever pick up time is needed and identified on the registration form.

    *We bill by the hour.

  • What are pick-up and drop-off procedures?

It is a State requirement that each child must be signed in and out by a parent/ guardian or

authorized adult parent/guardian representative every day on the Sign In and Out sheets located in the centers. A full signature is required.

Children will be released only to those authorized persons (at least 18 years old) designated on

the child’s release form. It is the parent/guardian’s responsibility to notify office personnel of

any changes in writing. If your child is to be involved in any after school activities, i.e., soccer, music, dance, Scouts, that are not a function of our program, we will need a letter of permission from you to release your child. Once the child is released from our program, we are no longer responsible until he/she returns from the activity. Your child will be signed in either by the person in charge of the activity or by our staff when they return to our program at the agreed upon time. This policy applies even if the activity is on the school campus.
